Jo Bertram | J Sainsbury plc

Jo joined the Board on 7 July 2022 and is a member of the Nomination and Governance and Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Committees.

Jo is an experienced strategic business leader with a track record of leading complex businesses through transformation and change. Most recently, she was CEO of O2 Business, having previously served as Managing Director, Business & Wholesale at Virgin Media O2 and O2. Between 2013 and 2017, she was Regional General Manager, Northern Europe at Uber. Earlier in her career, Jo worked at McKinsey and Accenture, and she holds an MBA from INSEAD.

Jo’s experience leading technology and consumer-facing businesses brings valuable perspective as Sainsbury’s continues to use digital solutions and technology to make shopping easier and more convenient for customers.
